
Tara Ahlf, PT, DPT, CSCS

Tara is a dedicated physical therapist with a diverse background in both outpatient orthopedics and acute care. She has trained in settings ranging from large medical centers to specialized sports medicine clinics, giving her a broad perspective on patient care across the continuum of rehab.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Tara is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is trained in Functional Movement Systems (FMS/SFMA), providing her with advanced tools to evaluate and optimize movement. She is also certified in LSVT BIG, a specialized program designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s disease improve mobility and function.
Tara brings a unique global perspective to her work, having lived and worked abroad as an educator and leader in schools across Asia. Her experience in teaching and communication enhances her ability to connect with patients and tailor care to their individual needs.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Passionate about service, Tara has volunteered at events supporting adaptive athletes, amputees, and inclusive community initiatives.
With her blend of clinical training, strength and conditioning expertise, and commitment to patient-centered care, Tara helps her patients move with confidence and return to the activities that matter most.Dr. Tara Ahlf earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She also is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the national strength and conditioning association.
