
Stephan Alterado, PT, DPT

Stephen is from Pearl City, Hawaii. He graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and also a coauthor of a published article in the journal of Physical Therapy in Sport titled “Rotator cuff strength is not augmented by blood flow restriction training.” He enjoys working with patients of all ages and is interested in treating sports-related injuries, especially with youth athletes.
Stephen’s treatment approach focuses on building resiliency through exercise and education to help patients reach their goals and return to activities that are meaningful to them. Stephen has a data driven approach and believes in the importance of collaborating with his patients for the best physical therapy experience. Stephen’s active lifestyle and his drive to serve the community is what attracted him to this diverse and dynamic profession.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys working out, trying new breweries and exploring Seattle with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs.
