Olivia Ciantro, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy | West Seattle
Olivia brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and fitness experience to the HIDEF team. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Long Island University after completing her B.S. in Biology at St. Joseph’s College. Alongside her education, Olivia built a strong background in health and performance as a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and nutrition coach.
Before becoming a physical therapist, Olivia spent six years as a personal trainer at a private studio in New York City, where she specialized in individualized programming, powerlifting coaching, and creating supportive, motivating environments for clients.
Olivia’s clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, with a passion for helping people overcome limitations and return to the activities they love. Whether working with athletes, weekend warriors, or anyone striving to move better, she emphasizes collaboration, education, and steady progression tailored to each individual’s needs.
Olivia is driven by her own experience of having been taken out of dance due to an injury and having doctors tell her “she’d never be able to move the same way again”. In discovering weightlifting and powerlifting, she was able to heal herself and progress to a level she didn't think possible. This experience drives her to instill confidence in movement in her patients that they can carry beyond the clinic. She encourages the patient being part of the plan of care and including them in discussions and education so that they have a voice in their care.
Originally from New York, Olivia now calls Washington home. Outside the clinic, you can find her exploring the outdoors, checking out the Seattle food scene, and staying active in the local community.
