Andrew Brown, PT, DPT, MS
Doctor of Physical Therapy | Masters of Science in Kinesiology
Dr. Andrew Brown is one of our top rated physical therapists in Renton. His combined experiences in sport performance, wellness coaching, and rehabilitation have led him to adopt a holistically minded approach to physical therapy that takes each individual's personal factors into account when developing a rehabilitation program. He strongly believes in training safely around injuries and finding ways for his patients to stay as active as possible throughout the rehab process.
Andrew’s passion for movement led him to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Following completion of his undergraduate degree, Andrew obtained his Master’s of Science in Kinesiology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, where he studied the effects of breath training on high intensity cycling performance. While at Western Washington, Andrew also worked with the Division II collegiate athletics programs at the Parberry Strength Center. His passion for education and helping people return from injury further led him to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy which he received from the University of Puget Sound. He has worked in a variety of rehabilitation and coaching contexts including sports - orthopedic, private, group, high school, and Division II collegiate, and tactical populations.
Aside from his own training, staying up to date on research, coaching others, and working his dream job as a Physical Therapist, Andrew enjoys spending his time trail running, skiing, fly fishing, and sampling craft beers with his fiancé, Amber, and their dogs and training partners, Cedar and Baker.
