ABOUT

AJ Davies, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. AJ Davies grew up in Olympia, Washington where he discovered his love for fitness, the outdoors, and extreme sports. He played baseball and football throughout high school while also spending as much time as possible snowboarding at White Pass. He attended the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. His passion for the outdoors led him to Denver, Colorado, where he then obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University. Near the end of his doctoral program, AJ discovered his passion for mountain biking that guided the early phases of his career.

AJ started his career as a traveling physical therapist in order to gain a broad range of experience in various outpatient settings while also exploring different parts of the West Coast and being able to mountain bike year round. His travels took him through Washington, Arizona, and California where he spent his free time enjoying the different landscapes atop his mountain bike or meeting new people at local CrossFit gyms. His various travel jobs exposed him to a wide range of patient populations, which fostered his holistic approach to patient care. He believes in curating strong patient-therapist relationships in order to best help his patients achieve their goals and take over their own care while minimizing an injuries impact on their ability to do what they love. AJ continues to push himself to learn through evidence-based courses in order to best serve his patients. He specializes in cyclists, CrossFitters, extreme sport, and overhead athletes.

AJ spends his free time mountain biking and currently participates in various enduro-style race series along the West Coast. When not mountain biking, you can find AJ snowboarding or hiking in the cascades, practicing photography, doing CrossFit, or enjoying the local nightlife around Seattle
